Our History

In 2007, Nopetro was founded with the goal of displacing petroleum consumption in the transportation sector with cleaner, cheaper and domestic natural gas fuel. Over the last four years, the company has formed a distinguished reputation for its efforts in promoting CNG and LNG fuels by strategically targeting areas throughout the State of Florida which are most prepared to accept this alternative fuel as a mainstay for their respective operations. The company has held meetings with countless public and private entities throughout the nation, and has additionally conducted presentations before the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C.

Through perseverance and relentless tenacity, Nopetro has persisted with its vision of converting the nation's 18-wheelers, buses, refuse trucks, street sweepers and light vehicles away from petroleum-based fuels and towards an alternative that makes sense from an economic, environmental and national security perspective.

With the downfalls of oil dependence on full display, this country is demanding a solution. Domestic natural gas fuel for vehicles is the answer, and Nopetro is committed to fostering this nation's pursuit of energy independence.
