What is LNG?
Liquefied Natural Gas, or LNG, is a cheaper and cleaner alternative to diesel that is ideal for medium and heavy duty vehicles. Natural gas is a plentiful, domestic form of energy that is transported throughout the nation through a vast network of pipelines. By delivering natural gas to a liquefaction plant, the gaseous fuel is turned into a liquid, resulting in an energy density equal to gasoline and diesel, and providing vehicles with the ability to travel ranges in excess of 700 miles.
